StuntCamp Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 1, 2026
This privacy policy explains what personal information StuntCamp ("we," "us," or "our") collects through stuntcamps.us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to anyone who visits the site, creates an account, books a lesson or class, or works with us as staff. By using stuntcamps.us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your first and last name, email address, and password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider, Supabase). You may also provide your birthday and phone number.
Children's information. If you sign up as a parent or guardian, we collect the first name, last name, and birthday of any children you register as athletes, along with the positions (flyer, base, backspot) they're interested in.
Profile photo. You may optionally upload a profile picture. If you're a staff member, this photo also appears on lesson listings so customers can see who they're booking with.
Booking and scheduling information. Details about the private lessons or classes you request or book, including your preferred instructor position, a partner's name (for shared lessons), and the dates and times you select.
Staff information (staff accounts only). The positions you're qualified to teach, the dates and times you make yourself available, and which lesson or class requests you claim.
Payment information. We do not collect or store your full card number. Payments are processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor — see "Payment Information" below.
Communications. If you contact us through the site, we collect the name, email, phone number (if provided), and message you submit.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- create and manage your account
- process and confirm bookings for private lessons and classes
- match your booking with an available instructor based on your stated preferences
- coordinate staff scheduling and lesson assignments
- display staff profile photos on lesson listings
- process payments through Stripe and manage refunds when applicable
- respond to inquiries submitted through the site
- contact you by phone, text, or email about a booking, request, or your account
- maintain the security and proper functioning of the site
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising. We don't send marketing or promotional messages unless you've separately agreed to receive them.
Payment Information
All payments on stuntcamps.us are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you pay for a lesson or class, your card details are entered directly into Stripe's own secure payment form and go straight to Stripe — they never pass through or get stored on our servers. We only receive and store limited transaction information from Stripe, such as the amount charged, the payment status, and an identifier we use to match your payment to your booking. Stripe's own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy) governs how Stripe handles your payment details.
Children's Information
Some of the athletes StuntCamp trains are minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Instead, a parent or legal guardian creates the account and enters their child's information (first name, last name, birthday, and position interests) themselves, in order to register that child for lessons or classes.
If you are a parent or guardian and would like to review, update, or delete the information we hold about your child, contact us using the information below. If we learn that a child has provided us with personal information directly, without a parent or guardian's involvement, we will delete it.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
stuntcamps.us uses a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and your account session secure. These are set by our authentication provider, Supabase, and are required for the site to work — they are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
How We Share Information
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run stuntcamps.us, and only as needed for them to provide their services to us:
- Supabase — hosts our database, handles account authentication, and stores uploaded profile photos.
- Stripe — processes payments, as described above.
- Cloudflare — hosts and delivers the website itself.
These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us. We may also share information if required to do so by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of StuntCamp, our staff, or our customers.
Data Retention
We keep your account and booking information for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward to maintain accurate business, tax, and safety records. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information except where we're required to keep certain records, such as transaction records for tax purposes.
When you sign our participant waiver, we keep a record of it: the name you typed, the participant it covers, the date and time, the waiver version, whether you gave photo/video consent, and the IP address and browser it was signed from. Because it's a legal record, we keep signed waivers even if you delete your account.
Athletes attending a stunt camp with their team can sign the waiver through a private link, without an account. For those we record the athlete's name and date of birth, the signer's name, email and phone, an emergency contact's name, phone and relationship, photo/video consent, and the same signing details as above. We use this only to run the camp safely (for example, contacting someone in an emergency) and keep it as a legal record. We may share the names of athletes who have signed with their team's coach.
Your Rights and Choices
You can review and update most of your account information (name, phone number, profile photo) directly from your profile page at any time. You can also ask us, using the contact information below, to:
- access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- correct inaccurate information
- delete your account and associated personal information, subject to the retention exceptions described above
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California law (including CalOPPA, and the CCPA/CPRA where applicable) to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our database, and routing all payment card data directly to Stripe rather than handling it ourselves. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example as we add new features to the site. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
